  • You have a knee joint infection around a previously placed artificial knee (prosthesis).
  • You are scheduled for a two-stage replacement surgery.
  • Your orthopedic and anesthesia doctors have approved the surgery.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing and able to give written consent after understanding the study.
