Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 67 years old.
  • You have a high-risk blood cancer or myelodysplasia, or another blood cancer needing a transplant but no suitable donor.
  • You have a matched cord blood unit available with enough cells.
  • You are healthy enough for transplant, with good heart, lung, liver, kidney function, and a performance score of at least 70%.
  • You agree to use effective birth control if you could become pregnant.
