Who can take part

  • You need a blood-related condition that involves bone marrow or blood cell production, from genetics, illness, or strong prior treatment.
  • You will be asked to sign a consent form (and a child’s assent if the patient is a minor) before joining.
  • You may be a child or an adult of any age.
  • You cannot be using only licensed cord blood units.
  • You must be using an unlicensed cord blood unit through this program—not already through another research/IND access protocol.
