Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) using the Rotterdam criteria.
  • You are a woman between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You have insulin resistance, confirmed by a blood test (HOMA-IR score over 2.6).
  • Your BMI is between 18.5 and 30 (not underweight and not obese).
  • You do not have uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid problems, or high prolactin levels.
  • You have not taken metformin or similar insulin-sensitizing medicines in the last three months.
  • You do not have serious kidney, liver, or heart disease.
  • You are not allergic to melatonin.
