Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), including subtypes like behavioral variant, primary progressive aphasia, or related conditions.
  • Your symptoms must be mild to moderate (global CDR plus NACC FTLD score of 1 or less).
  • You cannot have other brain problems such as stroke, brain tumor, head injury, epilepsy, or fluid buildup in the brain.
  • You cannot have metal implants in your head or electronic devices like a pacemaker.
