Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must be in the ICU or CCU and scheduled for a brain CT perfusion scan.
  • You must not need emergency medical care right now.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You must not have an allergy to SonoVue® contrast dye (sulfur hexafluoride) or its ingredients.
  • You must not have a right-to-left heart shunt, recent skull surgery near your temple, or open wounds/scars there.
