Who can take part

  • You are a male of any age.
  • You have sudden (acute) pain in one or both testicles.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form.
  • You have not had any surgery or procedure (like a needle puncture) in the scrotal area in the last 30 days.
  • If you are an adult male having surgery to remove a testicle due to cancer, you may also be in a separate part of the study.
