- Your body mass index (BMI) must be between 26.0 and 35.0
- Your weight must have been stable (not changed much) for the last 3 months
- You must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after your last visit
- You cannot have used certain weight-loss medications (like GLP-1 drugs) in the last 3 to 6 months
- You cannot have certain liver test results that are more than 1.5 times the normal upper limit
