Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed thymus tumor (thymic epithelial tumor).
  • Imaging shows the tumor has spread to the lining of your lungs, and a team of experts believes this treatment is right for you.
  • You are between 16 and 80 years old.
  • You are in good enough health for surgery (ASA class I or II).
  • Your major organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys) are working normally.
  • You have not had other cancers, and you have waited at least 4 weeks since chemotherapy, 6 weeks since radiation, and 6 weeks since immunotherapy.
