Who can take part

  • You must be between 50 and 90 years old (exact age range not specified, but typical for early Alzheimer's studies).
  • You have a diagnosis of probable Alzheimer's dementia with mild symptoms (CDR global score 0.5 or 1 and MMSE score 20 to 30).
  • You must have a BMI between 18 and 32 and weigh at least 45 kg (about 99 lbs).
  • You must have evidence of amyloid plaques in the brain (from past tests or a screening test).
  • You cannot have had a prior stroke, significant head injury, or other brain disorder besides Alzheimer's.
  • You cannot have received any anti-amyloid or anti-tau immunotherapy (like a vaccine or antibody treatment) before, except for a specific exception.
