Aggressive Behavior in Fragile X Syndome

This trial is for men with Fragile X syndrome who have moderate to severe aggressive behavior. The study tests a new medication to see if it can help reduce aggression. You must have a caregiver who can help report your symptoms.

Who can take part

  • You are a male between 18 and 45 years old
  • You have Fragile X syndrome with the full mutation (over 200 repeats)
  • Your IQ is below 70
  • You have moderate to severe aggressive or disruptive behavior (both you and your caregiver have noticed it)
  • You have a caregiver who lives with you or sees you almost every day
  • Your other medications have been stable for at least one month
  • You can swallow capsules whole
