Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old
- You get short of breath with activity (NYHA class II to IV) not caused by something else
- Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is above 40%
- You have high levels of NT-proBNP or BNP in your blood, based on your age and whether you have atrial fibrillation
- You take a water pill (diuretic) daily for at least 2 weeks before the study
- You have had a heart failure hospitalization, needed IV diuretics, or have signs of elevated pressures in your heart within the past year
