Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You must have had surgery to completely remove your liver cancer within the last 8 weeks, and the doctor confirmed no cancer cells were left at the edges.
  • You must have one or more 'high-risk' features: a tumor larger than 5 cm, cancer cells in blood vessels, 3 or more tumors, a high-grade tumor, or a narrow surgical margin.
  • Your liver and kidney function must be good enough, based on blood tests (e.g., your platelet count must be at least 80, hemoglobin at least 90).
  • If you have hepatitis B or C, you must be on antiviral treatment.
  • You cannot be pregnant, and you must not have active infections or serious medical conditions that would make the trial unsafe.
