Who can take part

  • Your child is between 3 and 18 years old and weighs at least 22 pounds (10 kg).
  • They have been diagnosed with AML that has returned or not responded to treatment, and no other standard options are available.
  • At least half of their leukemia cells must have a protein called CLL-1 (a specific marker on the cancer cells).
  • Your child must be well enough to have a good ability to perform daily activities (a Karnofsky or Lansky score above a certain level).
  • Their major organs (liver, kidneys, blood, lungs, and heart) must be working well enough.
  • Any side effects from prior treatments must have mostly gone away.
