Who can take part

  • You must be between 35 and 80 years old.
  • Your LDL cholesterol must be at least 1.8 mmol/L if you're already on treatment, or at least 2.6 mmol/L if not.
  • Your Lp(a) level must be 50 mg/dL or higher.
  • Your stroke or mini-stroke must have started 3 to 7 days ago.
  • You must have a confirmed blockage of at least 50% or multiple recent strokes on imaging.
  • You cannot have had clot-dissolving treatment or a procedure to remove the clot for this event.
