  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your pain is in one specific area, not all over your body
  • You have had this pain for 3 to 6 months
  • Your usual pain level is at least 4 out of 10
  • You have tight, tender knots in your muscles (myofascial trigger points)
  • Your pain moderately or severely limits your daily activities
