Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You have major depression that hasn't gotten better with standard treatments.
  • You are currently in regular talk therapy (psychotherapy).
  • You agree to stop most psychiatric medications (some antidepressants may be okay without tapering).
  • You cannot have psychosis, bipolar disorder, high suicide risk, severe heart/liver/brain problems, or be pregnant or nursing.
