Study of new MRI dye for blocked blood vessels

This trial tests a new MRI contrast dye (gadopiclenol) to see if it works as well as the standard dye for finding blocked or narrowed blood vessels. If you have symptoms of vascular disease, you may be able to join and help compare the two dyes.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have symptoms or test results suggesting narrowed blood vessels in your legs, neck, or kidneys
  • You are scheduled for or have had a CT scan or X-ray dye test of your blood vessels as part of your care
  • You do not have severe kidney disease (eGFR below 30) or a recent kidney injury
  • You are not allergic to MRI contrast dyes
  • You can safely have an MRI (no metal implants, no severe claustrophobia)
