Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (18+) who has had a stroke more than 3 months ago (for the main group).
  • Your stroke affects your upper arm/forearm movement (especially wrist or elbow flexing).
  • You have measurable muscle stiffness of the elbow or wrist flexor muscles (not mild, not the most severe).
  • You can take part in a rehab plan and understand simple instructions, and you can consent.
  • You must have no significant new medical problems that would make rehab unsafe right now.
