Who can take part

  • You are an adult woman between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) cesarean section.
  • Your physical health is classified as ASA II or III (generally healthy or with mild to moderate health issues).
  • You can cooperate with an eye ultrasound and follow-up after surgery.
  • You do not have severe high blood pressure, heart problems, or a very high BMI (over 40).
