This study tests whether a special wound dressing made from human placental membrane can help heal diabetic foot ulcers or venous leg ulcers that did not close with standard care. It is for people who were in the BIOCAMP trial and whose ulcer remained open after 12 weeks of standard treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • You were part of a previous study called BIOCAMP, and you were in the standard care group where your ulcer did not fully close after 12 weeks.
  • The ulcer being treated is not infected, and the surrounding skin is not red or swollen.
  • You are not taking antibiotics for an infection, nor are you on immune-suppressing medications or high-dose steroids.
