Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with primary adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease) for at least one year.
  • You are currently taking both a glucocorticoid (like prednisolone) and a mineralocorticoid for replacement therapy.
  • You plan to fast during Ramadan 2026.
  • You must not have diabetes, kidney, liver, heart, or lung problems (organ failure).
  • You must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or currently having your period.
  • You cannot be taking any other medications that affect hormones or blood sugar, such as diabetes pills, water pills, or steroids other than your prescribed ones.
