Who can take part
- Your baby was born at 28 weeks or less, or weighed less than 1,250 grams at birth
- Your baby needs a breathing tube and ventilator continuously
- Your baby is diagnosed with early pulmonary hypertension within 14 days of birth (confirmed by heart ultrasound or need for nitric oxide therapy)
- Your baby does not have severe heart defects (except a common open blood vessel called PDA)
- Your baby does not have serious lung malformations like diaphragmatic hernia
- Your baby has not had surgery within 3 days before or after the stem cell dose
