Who can take part

  • Born before 28 weeks of pregnancy
  • Currently between 4 and 14 days old
  • On a breathing machine (ventilator) and needing at least 30% oxygen for more than 12 hours in a day
  • No major birth defects, genetic syndromes, or severe infections
  • Not in shock or requiring medicines to support blood pressure
  • No active lung bleeding or air leak (pneumothorax with chest tube)
