  • You are 18 or older
  • You have chronic kidney disease at stage 3 or 4 (moderate to severe), or you have healthy kidneys but no protein in your urine
  • You do not smoke or use nicotine products
  • You are not on dialysis or have a kidney transplant
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or less than 3 months after giving birth
  • You can speak and read English and are willing to eat the study meals and follow the diet
