Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes.
  • You are 65 years or older.
  • You will have liver tumor surgery that lasts more than 2 hours.
  • You can have a whole-body PET/CT scan within one month before surgery.
  • You do not have a history of serious brain conditions like stroke or brain tumor.
  • You do not have a psychiatric condition or currently take antipsychotic medication.
