Study of BBI-001 for healthy people and those with iron overload

Who can take part

  • You may join as a healthy volunteer or as someone diagnosed with hereditary hemochromatosis
  • You must not have serious or unstable medical or psychiatric conditions
  • You must not have a significant medical history that could affect the study
  • You must not have any current infections
  • You must not have alcohol use disorder
  • If you have hemochromatosis, you must not have received iron chelation therapy or other treatments except stable maintenance phlebotomy in the last 6 months
