Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with diffuse axonal injury (DAI) after a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
  • If you cannot provide consent yourself, a family member or legal guardian must agree to your participation.
  • You cannot have an open (penetrating) head injury.
  • You must not have a history of other chronic brain or nerve conditions.
