Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old and weigh at least 45 kg.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of anti-MDA5 positive dermatomyositis with typical skin rashes.
  • If you have lung involvement, your oxygen levels and lung function must meet specific minimums.
  • You must have been on a stable, low dose of prednisone (a steroid) for at least 4 weeks before the study starts.
  • You must also have been on a stable dose of a calcineurin inhibitor (like cyclosporine or tacrolimus) for at least 4 weeks, or have stopped other immune-suppressing drugs for at least 4 weeks.
