Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of MDA5-positive dermatomyositis (a specific type of autoimmune disease).
  • Your lung function must be at least mildly reduced (shown on a breathing test), and a chest CT must show some inflammation or scarring in your lungs.
  • You cannot have already tried 3T therapy and had a bad reaction or it didn't work.
  • You cannot have taken certain other immune-suppressing drugs (like JAK inhibitors) in the last 2 weeks before the study starts.
