Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your rectal cancer must be stage IV with a KRAS or NRAS mutation and be 'pMMR' (mismatch repair proficient)
  • You cannot have had any previous chemotherapy for the metastatic cancer (except possibly one cycle of FOLFOX or CAPOX without a scan)
  • Your primary rectal tumor must still be there and not have received radiation before
  • You must be in fairly good health (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) with no serious heart, lung, or bleeding problems
