  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are able to understand and agree to take part in the study
  • You are scheduled to have your leg amputated above the knee (transfemoral) at Aarhus University Hospital
  • The reason for amputation is not due to an injury or other non-vascular cause
  • You have not already had the other leg amputated
