Methotrexate plus etanercept for juvenile arthritis

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 2 and 16 years old.
  • Your child must have a type of JIA called polyarticular JIA.
  • Your child should be newly diagnosed and not have taken methotrexate or etanercept before.
  • Your child cannot have a serious infection or have needed hospital care for an infection in the past month.
  • Your child must not have active tuberculosis, hepatitis B, or any other ongoing infection.
  • Your child must not have a history of cancer.
