Who can take part

  • You must have gout that is not well controlled with current treatments.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You cannot have had pegloticase or a similar uricase drug before.
  • You must be willing and able to take methotrexate along with the study drug.
  • You must not have severe kidney disease (eGFR below 40) or be on dialysis.
  • You must be able to take at least one gout flare medication (like colchicine or ibuprofen).
