Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 85 years old.
- You have hearing loss due to aging, not from other causes like loud noises or medications.
- Your hearing loss in your better ear is moderate to severe (you can't hear sounds between 35 and 79 decibels).
- You have been wearing hearing aids for at least 6 months and use them over 7 hours each day.
- You are right-handed and have at least 6 years of education.
- You have no history of stroke, epilepsy, dementia, or other brain conditions, and no metal in your body that prevents an MRI.
