Who can take part

  • You must be 19 years or older.
  • You need to have active polypoidal lesions in the macula with signs of fluid or bleeding, as confirmed by special eye tests.
  • Your vision in the study eye must be between 20/30 and 20/400 on an eye chart.
  • You must not have had any previous eye treatments for this condition, such as anti-VEGF injections, laser, or surgery other than cataract surgery.
  • You cannot have had a stroke or heart attack in the last 6 months.
  • You must not have received any systemic anti-VEGF therapy at any time.
