  • Child is scheduled for tonsil or adenoid surgery under general anesthesia.
  • Child is otherwise healthy or has only mild medical issues (ASA I or II).
  • Child does not have severe health problems, recent infections, developmental delays, or autism.
  • Child has no skin condition or rash on the left ear.
