  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for breast cancer surgery (not an emergency).
  • You do not have a serious mental health condition like dementia, Parkinson's, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, or long-term use of strong psychiatric meds.
  • Your ears are healthy—no skin problems, infection, deformity, or past ear surgery or nerve injury.
  • You do not have a serious heart rhythm problem or an implanted device like a pacemaker or ICD.
