Who can take part
- You are 18 to 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot).
- You have not received and do not plan to receive clot-busting medicine (IV thrombolysis) within 24 hours of the stroke, and you can get the first study drug dose within that 24-hour window.
- Your stroke symptoms are moderate to severe (NIHSS score between 6 and 20), with at least some weakness in an arm or leg.
- You did not need help with daily activities before the stroke (mRS score of 0 or 1).
- You do not have any bleeding in the brain, severe high blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, or a history of allergy to related medicines.
