Who can take part
- You have scoliosis (a curved spine) that is getting worse and needs surgery, but it was not caused by an injury or by wearing a brace incorrectly.
- Your scoliosis is the type that starts on its own, is present at birth, is due to muscle or nerve conditions, or is linked to certain syndromes.
- You are between 5 and 17 years old and still growing.
- You and your parents have discussed the study and are willing to take part.
- You have not had any previous spine surgery or implants, and you don't have any infections or allergies to implant materials.
