Who can take part
- You are at least 5 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with lupus (SLE) and still have active disease (SLEDAI-2K score of 8 or higher) despite trying high-dose steroids, hydroxychloroquine, and at least two other powerful medicines for at least 3 months.
- Your heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs work well enough (e.g., LVEF at least 50%, eGFR at least 30, AST/ALT no more than 3 times normal, oxygen saturation at least 92% on room air).
- You are able to have cells collected from your blood (leukapheresis) without any medical reason preventing it.
- If you are a woman able to have children, you must have a negative pregnancy test and agree to use effective birth control for one year after the cell infusion.
- You or your guardian understands the study and signs a consent form.
