Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You had a stroke from a blockage in a large artery in the front of the brain (confirmed by a special scan).
  • You had a procedure to remove the clot (endovascular thrombectomy) and it was successful in restoring blood flow.
  • The procedure was done within 24 hours of your first symptoms.
  • You are able to give permission (or have someone legally do it for you).
