Who can take part

  • You must be 20 years or older and had your first stroke.
  • Your affected leg should be at a certain recovery stage (Brunnstrom stage III or IV), meaning you have some movement but not full control.
  • You must be able to walk on flat ground without help from any device, like a cane or walker.
  • You need to be able to follow instructions and complete the study assessments.
  • You should not have a recent (within 6 months) leg fracture, serious spinal cord injury, nerve damage, or other conditions that make walking unstable.
