Dronabinol liquid for agitation in Alzheimer's disease
Treatments studied
Part of Brain & nervous system, Mental health clinical trials.
This trial tests whether a liquid version of a cannabinoid drug (dronabinol) can reduce agitation and aggression in people with Alzheimer's disease. If it works, it could offer a new way to calm these difficult symptoms and improve quality of life for both patients and caregivers.
