  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You received a kidney transplant at least 12 months ago.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher, which is considered overweight or obese.
  • Your kidney function has been stable over the past 3 months (a simple blood test checks this).
  • Your anti-rejection medicines have not been changed recently.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form.
