Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor cancer like breast, lung, stomach, cervix, uterus, ovary, pancreas, or melanoma.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are about to start chemo with a taxane drug (paclitaxel, nab-paclitaxel, or docetaxel).
- You have not had chemo before (if your cancer has spread) or are getting chemo after surgery.
- You do not already have nerve damage or numbness in your hands or feet.
- You can swallow pills and do not have a blockage in your gut.
