Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 90 years old and not on a ventilator.
  • You have had a tracheostomy tube for at least 48 hours, and any early swelling has settled.
  • You or your legal representative can give permission to join.
  • You have completed a standard decannulation process (removing the tube) as per the hospital's guidelines.
  • You do not have any skin problems that prevent wearing a monitor device continuously.
  • You are not in a coma, severely confused, or extremely anxious, and you can cooperate with wearing the devices.
