Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosed dilated cardiomyopathy and a BAG3 gene mutation.
  • Your heart's ejection fraction must be less than 45%.
  • You must have symptoms of heart failure (NYHA class II or III).
  • You must not have had a heart attack or a heart transplant, and you must not need a heart pump (LVAD).
