Who can take part

  • You have pectus excavatum (also called sunken chest).
  • You are 13 years old or older.
  • You do not use pain medicine on a daily basis before surgery.
  • You have not had previous chest surgery or pectus excavatum repair.
  • You do not have other chest wall conditions, congenital heart disease, bleeding problems, or major anesthesia risks.
