Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for laryngeal surgery with direct laryngoscopy
- You have not had part or all of your tongue removed (glossectomy)
- You have not had an injury to the nerve controlling your tongue (hypoglossal nerve)
- You are able to return for follow-up visits after the procedure
